Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest
Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Convention Schedule + New Merch

Hey guys. I've been getting quite a few notes and tweets lately from people I've met at conventions before, asking if I'll be back to Anime Expo and/or FanimeCon again this summer. I'm in the process of moving from LA to London, so when I was asked that question last year at the conventions, I didn't think I'd be back. But at the urging of my licensing agents both here and in Europe, I've decided to do a crazy thing and plan one last year of conventions here in the states before I sink my roots in across the pond.

Months ago, I put everything in the shop at azuzephre.net on sale to try and empty what was left in stock, but now I'm scrambling to restock everything once more for the upcoming conventions. That means mostly good news for anyone who might want to buy something, for a few reasons. I've reformatted the prints to be slightly smaller and on thicker card for the shows, but that means that the dwindling number of existing prints REALLY has to go. They're already on sale, but I'm cutting the price again. I'm only printing enough of the new prints to supply the shows I'll be at, so those won't be available online until after the shows are over, if there are any left. I'm also getting two new Tshirts printed as we speak, and one of them is unisex fit. I'm restocking button pins once more as well, but I've discontinued the less popular pins, regrouped the pins from three sets to two, and added a third set of entirely new designs. Large button pins featuring full comics are also now available. Keychains were a pain in the ass to make, so they won't be back, but I've got new bookmark designs instead. <3

New Bookmarks

Only the last four designs are new, but I've taken new photos of all of the designs so I thought I'd put them all up. Each bookmark, measuring 2.25" x 6" in size, is printed in photo quality and laminated using a heat laminating machine. The laminated coating is the thickest available, resulting in a truly durable product.

If you're ever on the east coast, you should come to a convention. It would be awesome to be able to meet you.
Though if I ever get the chance, I will try to go to a con on the west coast. Too bad the farthest west I've been is Indiana...
Either way, I love your art, and not just Pon and Zi. I hope you never give up art. :heart:

Aww! I wished I lived in California, that way i could be at everyone at your conventions and buy everything you have! I wouldn't care if everything totaled up to a bazillion dollars, but I live in crappy Georgia. To bad its going to be your last ones in the U.S. :(

Georgia isn't bad! I would have traded with you because I'm a big Invader Zim fantard. I might have had at least a chance to go to InvaderCon if I lived in Georgia. :hmm: It would be an even better trade if you lived near or in Atlanta.
anyways I live very close to some of those conventions *azuzephre will be goin to =P but I probably won't be going, because I don't have much money and I don't go to many conventions... :I
