In painting, I was assigned to emulate the style of my favorite artist in a piece.

I chose Audrey Kawasaki, and just tried to have fun with it. If you're not familiar with her work, it's well worth looking into. She's one of the most notable contemporary illustrators I can think of.

Acrylic glazes, graphite and ink on red oak.

i saw the thumbnail and could totally tell right off the bat who influenced you =P
i discovered her about a year ago, and shes still making great at to this day! its awesome to see her popularity growth :) this is a great emulation!! theres a mix of her and you in it; perfect!
